Victoria Stanski

Victoria Stanski (Canada) Expert Trainer

Victoria is a leading author and facilitator for Prosectra, where she specializes in leadership development, humanitarian response and conflict resolution training. With a strong background in humanitarian programming and crisis management, she brings a wealth of experience to her role, developing tailored training programs that equip leaders and organizations with the skills necessary to navigate complex conflict environments and high-pressure situations.

 

Her work with Prosectra focuses on empowering leaders in both public and private sectors, as well as international organizations, to effectively manage crises, resolve conflicts, and foster resilient teams in volatile environments. Victoria’s approach integrates practical leadership strategies with theoretical insights, making her training both accessible and transformative for participants.

 

For over 20 years, Victoria has designed and implemented humanitarian and peacebuilding programs in conflict-affected regions such as Syria, Lebanon, Turkey, Yemen, Egypt, Nigeria, Afghanistan, and Pakistan. Her work addresses both immediate humanitarian needs and long-term community resilience, focusing on strengthening communities and fostering peace. In senior roles with Mercy Corps and the International Rescue Committee, Victoria played a key role in scaling humanitarian aid to displaced populations, developing innovative strategies to tackle the challenges posed by conflict and displacement.

 

From 2020 to 2024, Victoria worked with Save the Children to lead organizational change management, redesigning systems to enhance global humanitarian effectiveness.

 

Currently, as Managing Director of Common Good AI, she uses AI technology to drive community problem-solving and civic engagement. Victoria is also a board member of the Center for Values in International Development, promoting ethics in global humanitarian efforts, and volunteers with Artists Athletes Activists, supporting migrants and asylum seekers by connecting them to essential services.

 

Her academic background is equally distinguished. Victoria earned a degree in Cultural Anthropology and African Studies from Smith College and continued her studies at the University of Dar Es Salaam in Tanzania. She also holds a Master’s in International Peacebuilding and Conflict Resolution from American University, where she focused on the skills and strategies necessary for conflict resolution and humanitarian intervention in global contexts.

 

Victoria’s role at Prosectra, combined with her extensive humanitarian experience and leadership in applying technology to social problems, positions her as a thought leader in both crisis management and ethical global development. Her commitment to leadership, ethics, and community empowerment continues to drive meaningful change on a global scale.
